Week 17 – Garden Green
I have to confess that Garden Green is probably my least used green – it’s not that I don’t like this colour, it’s that I always tend to reach for Old Olive or Mossy Meadow instead.
But when I saw Garden Green paired with Very Vanilla in the Boho Indigo leaf die cuts that come in the Boho Indigo Product Medley and the Boho Indigo Refill Kit I wondered why I don’t use Garden Green more often.
I wanted to use as many of these gorgeous Garden Green leaves as possible on my card so I made a modified bridge card with an extra strip inside.
This is what it looks like laying flat for postage or to slide into an envelope.
The vases were stamped in Soft Suede – I just love the different patterns on these vases! For the two front sides of the card I added a layer of the embossed Very Vanilla card stock that comes in the Boho Indigo Product Medley and the Boho Indigo Refill Kit.
Did you notice the gold foliage that matched the gold foiling on the leaves? It’s the Forever Gold Laser-cut specialty DSP. Just like the Garden Green Die cuts it makes card making so quick and easy.
Here’s what the card looks like standing up from above with the extra panel inside.
The striped DSP from toile Tidings DSP perfectly matched so I used it on the inside and the back of the card. The “Thank You” sentiment is stamped onto another die cut, which along with the gold foiled flowers also comes in the Boho Indigo Product Medley and the Boho Indigo Refill Kit.
The final touch on the front of the card is a gold trim bow from the forever Greenery Trim Combo pack.
I quickly made an envelope to match using a sheet of the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Art With Heart team have created with Garden Green today.

Oh, I can just imagine all theses plants in a garden room in a fancy house. What a wonderful room it would be to sit in and read or ‘take tea’ LOL! It’s a fabulous card, and I love the addition of the extra strip to allow more foliage.
Beautiful Cathy. Love how you have used the Boho medley
Really Lovely Catherine, This is a set that I have been looking at for some time. I think it’s back on my wish list.
This is a gorgeous card Cathy. I love the striped DSP and all of those gorgeous leaves and touches of gold, and the Crumb Cake vases. The back of the card is just as wonderful as the front – love it!
So so gorgeous Cathy. I love your use of all the lovely pieces from the Boho medley with your bridge fold card. The mix of the Garden Green and gold leaves is beautiful, especially with the Soft Suede vases. I so love your creativity. I have been meaning to play with my set – but seem to get distracted. You have inspired me to get it out and play. xxx
That looks pretty with the crumb cake vases.

WOW!!! Your card is fabulous Catherine. You really are an enabler. I have looked and looked at these cute vases and tried to justify buying the Boho Indigo Product Medley. I think you may have just convinced me.
Absolutely stunning card Cathy, I really love the way you have used these products – you have really maximised the use of the die cuts from Boho Indigo and the Gold Leaves. Beautiful! xx
Wow, what a beautiful work of art your card is, Cathy. I, too, don’t reach for Garden Green often. I LOVE what you’ve done with it.
