Heart of Christmas Week 10

Heart of Christmas Week 10

Welcome to week ten of the 2019 Heart of Christmas blog hop!

My cards this week features the beautiful Let it Snow Designer Series paper in one of my favourite colour combinations: Coastal Cabana and Real Red.

I don’t have the matching stamp set and punch that goes with this paper so I used the very versatile Merry Christmas To All Photopolymer Stamp Set – this set is on special during our 24 hour stamp sale that ends at midnight tonight.

I’ve created three quick and easy cards that showcase this glittery, gorgeous paper and the very versatile stamp set.

Card one features three of the cheeky snowmen. I’ve used the reverse side of the DSP for the panel below and neat trick to punch out the Merry Christmas sentiment.

If you look closer at the photo below you can see I’ve punched out the words merry and Christmas separately using the classic label punch and then covered the join with a red rhinestone basic jewel.

On card two I stamped the Merry and Christmas in Coastal Cabana and Real Red and again used a strip of the reverse of the DSP. I think it looks like a strip of Washi tape used in this way.

Here’s the card photographed from another angle to show you how glittery this DSP is!

My final card uses the reverse of the DSP, with a lovely soft snowflake pattern.

Because this pattern is less dominant I decided to feature the sentiment, again stamped from the Merry Christmas To All Photopolymer Stamp Set. I die it out with a layering square framelit, mounted onto real red to make it pop. The finishing touch is a bow of real red curly ribbon.
