Welcome to Bronwyn’s second Birthday Blog hop!
We’re a group of stamping friends who are celebrating Bron’s 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes! This is our inspiration pic for tonight’s hop.
My card tonight is inspired by an amazing Irish designer called Orla Kiely and her iconic Stem print. Although she is a modern designer, her prints are inspired by the colours and the patterns of the 1960s.
To create my version of the stem pattern I used the Ladybird builder punch and the following Stampin’ Up! coloured cardstock: Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate.
I used the wing section of the punch to make my leaves – after punching, cut them in half down the middle and then mix up the colours.
Next up on Bronwyn’s Birthday Blog hop is my friend Andrea Sargent– I can’t wait to see what Andrea has created!
I’ll be back tomorrow night with the AWH Colour Creations team, where we will be starting our new 2022-23 Colour Creations blog hop.
In the meantime, wherever you are in the world, stay safe, stay calm…and keep on crafting xxx
I love your creative take on the inspiration theme, Cathy; this is a delightful card, my friend! x
