Welcome to week forty-seven of our Art With Heart 2023-24 Colour Creations blog hop!
Our colour this week is Soft Sea Foam, a very soft green from the subtles family.
I had so much fun playing with the Easter Bunny Stamp set last week I’ve used again to make some baby cards I was asked to make for a baby girl called Charlotte and a baby boy called Morgan.
For Morgan’s card the bunny was coloured in using Crumb Cake light and dark Stampin’ Blends with light Petal Pink for his ears, nose and tummy.
I created a nesting barrel for the rabbit by using the largest of the stretched hexagon shape Nested Essentials Dies. The timber Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper was embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder before die cutting with the Nested Essentials Dies.
Cut the die piece in half – you will now have two trapezoids. Then run through the Bigshot with the die on a side angle to create the barrel shape with a stitched edge that is the correct height fopr the bunny. Just be sure to only die cut the top edge of the barrel – don’t run the entire die through the Bigshot.
The grass on Morgan’s card was coloured using Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends.
His name was die cut from Basic White card stock using the online exclusive Mini Alphabet Dies, also coloured using Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends.
Charlotte’s card is a horizontal card (to fit the letters of her name on the card front) and it uses a mix of Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam.
I’ve added a few of the smallest Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centre of the flowers for some added sparkle.
Both cards feature a twine bow as well as DSP layers with the Subtles 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper. This DSP, along with the retiring Easter Bunny Stamp Set and Easter Bunny punch, are all retiring soon.
I’ve added leftover strips of the DSP to the back of the envelope flaps.
And both cards have been stamped on the inside with two of the sentiments from the Charming Sentiments stamp set.

This is a weekly blog hop where we showcase the stunning range of Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order over 12 months and this week we are featuring Soft Sea Foam, one of the core colours in the Subtles family.
The Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and it’s matching Sunflower dies are one of my all time favourite stamps and dies and as they are both retiring soon and on special I thought I’d give them a send off by using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in my Soft Sea Foam card this week.
I’m not sure what the name of this technique is, but it’s super easy to do with just about any floral stamp set and your Stampin’ Blends. You simply stamp the images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto white cardstock and then colour in with your blends.
The space between the images is coloured using the light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend but it looks like Pool Party in these photos!
The sunflowers are coloured in Daffodil Delight and so Saffron, with Old Olive for the leaves.
I always make sure to stamp images off the sides of the cardstock – it looks a bit funny if you don’t do this.
Once it was all coloured in I attached a strip of Soft Sea Foam sheer ribbon using Tear’n’Tape and adhered a bow of the ribbon (cut in half) using a glue dot.
I stamped and heat embossed in white a sentiment onto Basic black cardstock, fussy cut it using paper snips, and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A few Matte Black Dots (also on special and retiring soon) were the final touch.

Welcome to week 45 of our 2021-22 Colour Creations blog hop! Tonight we are showcasing Soft Sea Foam from the Subtles family.
This very pale green is combined with Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent in the striped paper in the soon to be retired and currently half price ($10) Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. This monotone striped paper (top right sheet in the photo below) inspired the colour combination for my card today.
Did you know there are actually several variety of green pansies in real life? Regardless, I still would have still made green pansies as I love taking a bit of artistic licence when making my cards.
This Basic Border die provides a lovely scalloped and stitched edge to the Basic White layer and the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (also retiring soon) add a touch of bling to the centre of my pansies.
I just love how these Pansy dies add so much texture at the same as they die cut the flowers out.
The sentiments in the Pansy Patch Stamp Set have the most delightful mix of fonts – I’m so happy these Pansy dies and the Pansy Patch Stamp Set are both carrying over to the new annual catalogue.
