Welcome to week 37 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is one of the 2018-20 in colours: Pineapple Punch.
As much as I adore yellow used as an accent colour with black, white or grey I decided to go with a more vibrant colour combination this week by using the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack and the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.
I love the look of Pineapple Punch with Night of Navy, Call Me Clover, Calypso Coral and Lovely Lipstick.
The Memories & More Card Pack makes card making so easy I ended up making 4 cards this week. There was no stamping, die-cutting or punch involved…all I needed to make these cards was adhesive, paper snips and embellishments.
My first card uses one of the Marimekko inspired florals. I added a strip of vellum to soften the colour topped with a long white sticker from the Memories & More Card Pack. I embellished the white sticker with some of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots, and the “best wishes” sentiment sticker mounted onto a scrap of Pineapple Punch cardstock. The finishing touch was a flower fussy cut from the same Memories & More Card Pack and a Night of Navy twine bow.
Cards two and three use the smaller sized Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, Pineapple Punch ribbon, stickers, Night of Navy twine and Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.
My final card uses the big Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, vellum, Pineapple Punch ribbon and Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots. The sentiment is cut from one of the Memories & More Cards and then mounted onto the reverse side of that card.
This colour combination is so bright and happy…great for men as well as women. And I just love the matching envelopes with their striped flaps!

We will be back again next week showcasing one of my favourite subtles: Pool Party. We hope you can along with us then.
Welcome to week 36 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is another one from the subtles family: Petal Pink.
At first glance Petal Pink, Powder Pink and Blushing Bride all look very similar but when you line them up side by side Petal Pink has a lot more orange in it, which is why it makes such a great skin tone.
Petal Pink was the perfect colour for me to use for this gorgeous little bunny from the new Fable Friends stamp set. Although this staamp is reminiscent of Peter Rabbit with his little blue jacket I decided to mix it up and create a soft grey female bunny with a petal pink jacket.
After stamping the image, I coloured the bunny in with Smoky Slate and Petal Pink blender pens, die cut it out with the largest oval from the stitched framelits die set and made a fun fold card…although I’m not sure what this type of fold is actually called!
The beautiful DSP is from two sets: the striped paper and the spotted paper inside the card are from the Subtles Designer Series Paper, however the larger dotted paper on the outside of the card is from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper.
In addition to the rabbit from Fable Friends, I used two stamps from the Incredible Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set: the “I adore you” sentiment and the dots I’ve stamped in Petal Pink down the right hand side of the card.
The final touch is a bow made from the new Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon.

Welcome to week 35 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is from the subtles family: Pear Pizzazz.
Pear Pizzazz is yet another colour I have not paid enough attention to and certainly not used enough!
However, the colour combination in the stunning Floral Romance DSP pack really caught my eye (Fresh Fig, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand, Whisper White and Pear Pizzaz) and so I decided to use it for my card this week.
I started with a Memories and More Card onto which I mounted the soft wood grain patterned DSP in Sahara Sand. You can see this lovely neutral background more clearly on my card below.
I then used two of the long thin Stitched Rectangle Framelits to cut out a rectangle of Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White. The congratulations sentiment comes from the Ballon Celebration stamp set…I love the long thin elegance of this font.
The gorgeous clusters of flowers and leaves I simply fussy cut using my paper snips from a sheet of the patterned vellum. To further add texture and dimension I used my bone folder to curl the leaves up.
I arranged the leaves and flower around the sentiment and adhered them using glue dots. A small bow of Old Olive sheer ribbon adds even more dimension.
The remaining leaves and flowers I used to decorate the flap of the envelope as well as inside the card. The “you are amazing” sentiment inside the card comes from the Amazing Life stamp set.

Welcome to week 34 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is from the bright’s family: Pacific Point.
This is such a vibrant, beautiful blue…but I have to admit I rarely use it because Night of Navy is such a favourite of mine. But after using it this week (along with Bermuda Bay, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White) to make these beautiful butterflies I think it’s a colour I’ll be using a lot more from now on.
If you look closely at the photo above you’ll see the new butterfly punch, watercolour pencils in Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay…
…and sorry (but not really sorry) the stitched rectangle framelits yet again!
For my first card, I stamped in Stazon ink onto watercolour paper, then simply coloured the edges of my butterflies with the Pacific Point watercolour pencil and used the blender pen to blend the blue in, leaving some white space towards the centre of the butterfly.
After punching the butterflies out I stamped the body of the butterfly and attached it with glue dots to whisper white card stock. The antenna was stamped after the butterfly was attached.
For all three cards, I mounted the whisper white card stock onto some Soft Sea Foam card stock before mounting onto a rectangle of Pacific Point and then onto a Memories and More small card that comes with its own envelope.
I find most of the blues and greens usually work really well together.
My other two cards are horizontal, using two of the other butterfly stamps in the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I used both watercolour pencils in Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay, blending again with the blender pan.
I also played around with the positioning of the sentiment and the butterflies for my third card.
I love this stamp set because it is so easy to colour in different ways. You can stamp the colour using the stamps provided, use your markers, your blends, your watercolour pencils, or even lift the ink direct from your ink pad to colour the butterflies in.
And butterflies look incredible in any colour combination, thery are just so beautiful!

Welcome to week 33 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is probably my go-to green: Old Olive.
I just can’t seem to stop using these stitched rectangle framelits at the moment…I think I have an addiction!! I’ve just counted and realised I’ve used 5 different sizes in my card below.
The stamp set is so stunning and its one of the host sets from the annual catalogue, called Very Vintage, I love this set because it has 5 great sentiments in different fonts, a stamp that matches the Darling Label punch, the cutest little bee stamp and the stunning floral stamp I’ve used on my card today!
The colour combination is so simple…Old olive and Very Vanilla. My default neutral is always Whisper White but Very Vanilla works better for shabby chic/vintage style designs and Old Olive looks great with either colour.
If you take a close look at my photos you’ll be able to see the adhesive strips I’ve used to lift up my frame and the happy birthday sentiment. The frame is so easy to make with the stitched rectangles because the stitching is on both sides of the die.
And take a closer look at the lovely Old Olive linen thread!

We will be back again next week showcasing a member of the brights family: Pacific Point.
Welcome to week 32 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is one of my very favourite neutrals: Night of Navy.
For my card today I’ve made my own DSP using a brand new stamp set called Bloom by Bloom. I used this stamp set last week too for Mossy Meadow and I love how different this looks stamped in different colours.
I’ve also used Balmy Blue, Pacific Point and Blueberry Bushel…and, of course, the gorgeous new stitched rectangle framelits.
The gorgeous balmy blue ribbon is a free SALE-a-bration item you can choose when you spend $90 or more in any one order placed before March 31. The free pack includes 4 other colours, it’s such gorgeous ribbon.
I love Night of Navy so much I actually made 2 cards today. My second card uses the darling Little Elephan bundle.
I just used a touch of navy on this card…it’s such a great neutral it works with virtually any colour!
My elephant card is an expamle of #simplestamping (a card made with just ink and paper and maybe a punch). The #simplestamping theme for January is hearts/love and what a gorgoeus sentiment this is.
Now that I’ve made two cards, I’m not sure which one I prefer. Either way, I know they’ll both get put to good use.

Welcome to week 31 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is a previous in colour that has now returned to be a core part of the neutrals family: Mossy Meadow
For my card today I’ve gone for a very soft, paired back look using a brand new stamp set called Bloom by Bloom. I love the graphic design elements of this Marimekko inspired design.
In the catalogue, the samples for this stamp set are all created with very bold colours (which I love), but I’m also really loving this softer colour combination of all neutrals: Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Whisper White.
When you stamp onto coloured card stock you get get a slightly translucent feel to the images. I’ve stamped onto Crumb Cake card stock with the Mossy Meadow (stamped off once because it is a very dark green) and Whisper White and Basic Black stamped at full strength.
Did you notice the stitched rectangle framelits?…I just can’t stop using these! I was trying to create a simple stamping card (and succeeding) until I couldn’t resist using the framelits (I used the largest one), adding a linen thread bow and some clear rhinetones. But you could easily omit these elements and make a lovely card with this design just using papaer and ink.
Because the Bloom by Bloom stamp set doesn’t have a sentiment I’ve used a lovely sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.

Welcome to our first blog hop for 2019, week 30 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is a previous in colour that has now returned to be a core part of the subtles family: Mint Macaron
For my card today I’m using something old and something new. The something old is the stunning Frosted Floral speciality DSP (retiring very soon) and the silver foil edged cards and envelopes.
My something new is three of my favourite products from the new Occasions catalogue: stitched rectangles framelits and the Butterfly Gala bundle (Butterfly Duet punch and Butterfly Gala stamp set).
The botanical pattern on this DSP is so soft and inviting I just knew the butterflies would look right at home landing on these stems and leaves.
The butterflies are incredibly easy to make because the Butterfly Gala stamp set comes with the matching Butterfly Duet punch that punches out one large and one small butterfly.
I stamped one pair of butterflies in Versamark ink onto mint macaron cardstock and then heat embossed with white embossing powder, then the other pair were stamped with mint macaron ink onto whisper white cardstock.
The butterfly’s antennas are made from mint macaron twine from the Nature’s Twine set and are embellished with clear rhinestones.
I’m in love with the font of this sentiment and the stunning stitched rectangle framelits!

Welcome to week 28 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
Our colour this week is a beautiful new neutral: Merry Merlot.
Because we’re now 1 week until Christmas day I just couldn’t resist making another Christmas Card, one that features Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide glimmer paper and the Joyous Noel DSP.
Isn’t this glimmer paper stunning!
The stamp set I’ve used for my card is called Peaceful Noel and all these products are part of the Joyous Noel Suite.
I love the font of the sentiments in this stamp set and I’ve stamped both the outside and the inside of my card.
Here’s the inside.
My glittery baubles were a cinch to cut out from the glimmer paper using the detailed baubles thinlits and can you guess what I used to make the holly that sits at the top of each bauble?
The little leaves are from the boxwood wreaths with berries made from red rhinestone jewels.

Our colour this week is one of the Bright Family Colours: Melon Mambo.
For my card this week I’ve paired Melon Mambo with Mossy Meadow and used a stunning new stamp set from the forthcoming Occasions catalogue: Incredible Like You.
I love all the tiny little stamps in this set, the font, the sentiments and the lovely big roses…just the perfect set to showcase Melon Mambo.
I stamped directly onto the wonderful Wood textures DSP and achieved depth and variety of colour by stamping off both the Mossy Meadow and the Melon Mambo.
