Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Twist Card

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Twist Card

Welcome to week thirty-one of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!

This week we’re featuring Lemon Lime Twist, a bright lemon/lime colour from the Brights family. I’ve made a card using one of the new Online Exclusives, the Umbrella Days Bundle.

I really wanted this vibrant colour to pop so I’ve paired it with a dark neutral colour, Pebble Path.

How cute is this little dog with his raincoat on! My dog, Superman, has a raincoat too and I’m sure this bundle will be a favourite for many dog lovers!

I also love the rain stamp and the dies for the clouds and the puddles.

I added spots to the umbrella (on the left) using my Pebble Path Stampin’ Blend! and created a two-tone umbrella (on the right) by die cutting the umbrella twice in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and Pebble Path Cardstock.

I then adhered the two colours alternatively over the stamped umbrella.

Sponge daubers and bending brushes were used to add a hint of colour to the sky and the clouds. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto Pebble Path card stock and fussy cut it out.

Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Kate Morgan. I can’t wait to see what Kate has made this week!

Lemon Lime Twist Sweet Citrus Thank You Card

Lemon Lime Twist Sweet Citrus Thank You Card

Welcome to week thirty of our Art With Heart 2023-24 Colour Creations blog hop!

This week we are showcasing Lemon Lime Twist, a vibrant yellow green. I couldn’t resist using the Sweet Citrus bundle to showcase this colour in all its fluro glory!

I’ve combined Lemon Lime Twist with two other greens, Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow.

I love the way Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green look even more vibrant against the Mossy Meadow card base.

The Sweet Citrus hybrid embossing folder does all the heavy lifting on this card, creating an incredibly realistic 3D effect.

I can’t stop using the Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins on my cards. They are retiring soon and on special now, reduced from $14 to $9.80.

It’s hard to show all the texture on this card in a photo – it really is incredibly lifelike.

Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the lovely Rachel Palmeri – I can’t wait to see what Rachel has made this week!

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop: Week 3 Bermuda Bay

Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop: Week 3 Bermuda Bay

Welcome to week 3 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!

This week we are showcasing one of my favourite colours: Bermuda Bay.

Bermuda Bay is often paired with Pool Party (and they look amazing together) but it also really looks great when used with Lemon Lime Twist. To showcase this colour combination I’ve used something old (the Painted Harvest stamp set) and something new (the Pop of Petals bundle) for my three Bermuda Bay cards.

For the first 2 cards, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set to CASE some cards I’d seen on Pinterest, changing up the colours and the sentiments. This first card is so simple but it really showcases how well Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay go together.

Can you spot the bakers twine in the next card? I used the dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend! to colour Whisper White bakers twine.

However, it’s the final card I’m most excited about…I used the new Pop of Petals bundle and I just love this stamp set and its matching punch!

If you look closely you’ll see another homemade embellishment that’s just so simple to make…I used the dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend! to colour a few rhinestone basic jewels. Here’s a close-up to show you my sparkly Bermuda Bay embellishments.

Look at all the lovely little stamps there are in this stamp set! I also used another great new colour, Call Me Clover, for this card.

Bermuda Bay works with so many different colour combinations and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the Art With Heart team have come up with today.
