Today I’m farewelling the Lots Of Happy Card Kit – one of my favourite kits of all time. It includes everything you need to make 20 cards, even the acrylic block to mount your stamps on and the adhesives to attach the elements to the card front.
The watercolour pencils included in the kit are some of my favourite colours. Here’s what the cards look like coloured in with the pencils included in the kit.
For my cards tonight I thought I’d show you how these cards look created with different colours, mixing up the design elements. I used Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Granny Apple Green watercolour pencils and my blender pen to blend the colours together.
I love how this bold black and white striped paper works so well with the Sahara Sand Card bases as a neutral palette you can mix with any other colours.
The card bases come in 5 different sizes and shapes. This birthday card is made from one of the large card bases.
And here’s the other birthday card design I made using one of the large card bases.
This smaller, rectangular note card is just perfect to accompany a gift.
And how cool is this hexagonal shape. Like every card in this kit, it comes with its very own matching envelope.
The smallest note card base is so adorable. I like to include little notecards this size when I’m giving a bunch of flowers or a small gift like a pair of earrings.
Tomorrow I will be sharing some more cards with you, but in the meantime you can view all the retiring products in my online shop.

I’ve missed a few days blogging about retiring products because I’ve been busy crafting with some brand new, yet to be released products that will be available to buy June 3 when the new annual catty goes live.
I’ll share some of these new products with you later this week but I’m going to give you a sneak peek on one of my cards today. Can you spot the new product I’ve used? I’ll let you know what it is at the end of the blog…
I’ve made two cards today farewelling the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the Bouquet Bunch Dies – I’ve used this bundle so much. If you love flowers don’t miss getting this stamp set.
My first card I made for my mum for Mother’s Day today, using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the Bouquet Bunch Dies, as well as the Lots Of Happy Card Kit that is also retiring.
My second card is a thank you card that features all the different blues in the Stampin; Up! colour range: Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel, Pacific Point, Seaside Spray and Balmy Blue.
I added at little something special to the top of my Mum’s Mother’s Day present – a couple of handmade magnolias using the Magnolia Memory Dies.
The something new I promised to share with you is an amazing new punch that lets you punch out 6 different styles of punch in infinite lengths. I’ve used it on my card here for my “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment to create a double layered mount.
Tomorrow I will be featuring another stamp set that is retiring from the 2019 Annual Catalogue and the 2020 January to June Mini Catalogue, but in the meantime you can view all the retiring products in my online shop.

Welcome to week 24 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop!
This week we are showcasing one of the Subtles: Highland Heather.
Although I’m not usually a purple kind of a gal, I really love this colour and I have a soft spot for it because of its name. You see my mum’s name is Heather and my grandparents on my dad’s side are Scottish, emigrating from the Scottish Highlands to Australia in the late 1930s.
Here’s a stunning picture I found of the Highland Heather on the Scottish moors. Look at that sky!
For my card today, I really wanted to recreate a bunch of this gorgeous highland heather and the “Lots of Happy Card Kit” was just perfect for the job.
The great thing about this kit (apart from how quick it is to create a stack of cards) is that it’s also easy to make your own variations. I’m pretty sure this gorgeous flower is supposed to be lilac but I think it looks a lot like heather when it is coloured in with the Highland Heather.
Instead of using the watercolour pencils that come with the kit, I coloured the flower in with my light and dark Highland Heather blends. The leaves and stems are coloured in with my light and dark Old Olive blends.
Another variation I made was to add some burlap and, drum roll………
….a sneak peek of a new item from the forthcoming Occasions catalogue – Old Olive linen thread, tied in a bow with some Crumb Cake linen thread and Whisper White bakers twine.
One of my favourite elements in this kit is the matching envelopes with the black and white stripe. So very cute.
