The challenge for Day 22 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge is a colour combination: Soft Lavender, Midnight Blue and Silver.
I’ve chosen Night of Navy, Fresh Freesia and Silver Foil for my Christmas card.
The Grove Dies were used to die cut night of Navy card stock to create the forest frame and to die cut the two deer from silver foil.
The background DSP with the touch of Fresh Freesia comes from the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper. I’ve used this stunning watercolour scene.
The silver heat embossed sentiment comes from the Peaceful Season stamp set. I’ve only used the first half of the sentiment.
To do this I’ve covered the parts of the sentiment I don’t want to use with a Post It note, stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and then carefully removed the Post It note BEFORE stamping the sentiment onto the Night of Navy cardstock and heat embossing it.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another “30 Days of Christmas” Christmas card and the final AWH Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024!
Welcome to week 16 of the Art with Heart Team Stampin’ Up! Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024. I hope you we are continuing to inspiring you each week with our Christmas card ideas.
My quick and easy Christmas card was also made for a sketch challenge for Day 18 of the 30 Days of Christmas card making challenge. This is the sketch.
Stampin’ Up! have the most wonderful Mix & Match Ephemera Packs in the Christmas catalogue.
For this card I’ve used the pre-cut row of trees, the house scene and some gold stars from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
These ephemera packs are designed to work well with the Gold Dipped Mix & Match Cards and Envelopes.
The gold heat embossed “Love from our home to yours” is from the Peaceful Season stamp set. I thought this was the perfect sentiment to go with the house.
These Mix & Match Ephemera Packs are my go to for when I need to make quick and easy cards. You get two sheets of each design for just $16.75!
Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Claire Daly. I can’t wait to see the project Claire has created this week!

It’s November 1, which can only mean one thing… It’s the start of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making challenge!
Papercrafters around the world are inspired by challenge prompts created by Martin Stone (Martin’s Mayhem – Papercrafter) to make a card for all 30 days of the month of November. Will I manage to create a card every day? Fingers crossed, that is my intent, but life often has a habit of getting in the way.
Today’s challenge is “O Christmas Tree” and the brief is to create a festive tree card that captures the spirit of the season.
As an Aussie living down under, our Christmas Day is typically warm and sunny and I hope my rainbow Christmas tree card captures the vibrancy of an Australian Christmas.
These are the colours of the cardstock I’ve used to create my rainbow.
I’ve used an Online Exclusive, the Forever Forest Dies, to create my trees and the stars. The “Christmas” die is from the Peaceful Seasons dies and the white heat embossed sentiment is from the Peaceful Seasons stamp set.
If you look closely you’ll see I’ve replaced the dot above the ‘i’ in Christmas with one of the silver stars.
TIP: I’ve added an adhesive sheet to my foil before die cutting to make it easier to adhere.
You can more clearly see the lovely shine the silver foil gives to this card from this side on view.
I’ll hopefully be back tomorrow with another “30 Days of Christmas” Christmas card. I hope you can join me then.
Welcome to week 13 of the Art with Heart Team Stampin’ Up! Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024. I hope you we are continuing to inspiring you each week with our Christmas card ideas.
The Snowy Scenes Suite collection has so many different elements to play with I ended up creating two cards instead of one for tonight’s blog hop. Although they use the same layout, the colours are very different, drawn from the different DSP designs.
Card one features the soft Petal Pink paper from the Snowy Scenes DSP and the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
The Merry Christmas sentiment is created in Petal Pink, white and black, using stamps and dies from the Peaceful Season Bundle.
The snowman has been shaded using the light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend with a tiny touch of Poppy Parade for the nose.
The colour scheme for card two is Pool Party and Garden Green, this time drawing inspiration from a different design in the Snowy Scenes DSP. The embossing folder is the crosshatch design from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
The large square label die from the Peaceful Season dies has slots that are designed for ribbon to be threaded through. I’ve cut a length of the Pool Party Pompom Ribbon to thread though the label. How cute is this ribbon!
Instead of a snowman as the focal image, for this card I’ve stamped and die cut an assortment of trees in Pool Party and Garden Green, arranging them onto the Peaceful Season’s label. I’ve also stamped a few snowflakes and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The “Joy & Love to You” sentiment and label are stamped and die cut using the Peaceful Season Bundle bundle.
So, which design do you prefer? Although I’m more of a blue and a green girl, I actually think the lighter and less dominant Petal Pink DSP works better to make the focal image and sentiment really pop.
Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Judy May. I can’t wait to see the project Judy has created this week!

Welcome to week twenty of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!
This week we’re featuring Crumb Cake, probably my favourite Stampin’ Up colour as I consider it to be the perfect neutral.
I couldn’t resist making another Christmas card for this week, using a stand alone stamp set that was the very first product to catch my eye in the 2024 Holiday Catalogue: Yuletide Village.
I’ve deliberately kept my colour scheme very neutral with a lot of white as Crumb Cake is often the bridesmaid to other colours.
The original inspiration for this card came from a beautiful card created by a US Stampin’ Up! demonstrator called Sharon Williams Bardsley.
I’ve used the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder for the Basic White cardstock layer and the beautiful Crumb Cake and white DSP design from the Nests of Winter DSP, die cut using the arched frame from the Garden Meadow dies.
The white trees behind the buildings are die cut with the Frosted Forest dies, while the green trees are stamps from the Yuletide Village stamp set, coloured with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut.
All of the buildings are coloured using light and dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, with a touch of Pecan Pie on the church.
I’ve trimmed the word “love” from the sentiment and added five Earth Tones Shimmer Gems to complete the card.
Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Amie McIllroy – I can’t wait to see what Amie has made this week!
If at any time you find a broken link, you can find the complete list of all participants below.
