Welcome to week nineteen of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!
This week we’re featuring Copper Clay, a rich copper colour from the 2023–2025 In Colors.
It was Father’s Day last Sunday so I made a Father’s Day card for my dad using the Tartan Foil 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper. I also used this stunning DSP to wrap his Father’s Day gift!
The Sheets of DSP were not quite big enough to wrap the gift so I simply joined a Copper Clay sheet and a Pebbled Path Sheet together using Tear & Tape Adhesive to match the Father’s Day card.
I also used these two colours from the 2023–2025 In Color Jute Trim in my gift wrapping.
Enough about the wrapping – let’s take a look at the card. This type of fancy fold is called a napkin fold and I folded an 11 x 11 inch piece of Basic White card stock to make my card.
The Napkin fold is held flat (ish) with a belly band. The layered cardstock squares are die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies and the “DAD” sentiment is stamped in Pebble Path ink using a sentiment stamp from the Trusty Tools Stamp Set.
Here is the napkin fold card opened up.
I’ve used the Trusty Tools Stamp Set to decorate the inside panel as well, stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento, Copper Clay and Pebbled Path.
Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins complete the sentiment panel on the belly band.

This week we’re featuring Coastal Cabana, a beautiful aqua colour from the Brights Family.
As it is Father’s Day this Sunday I’ve made a Father’s Day card for my husband. You’ll see the Father’s Day card I’ve made for my dad in next week’s Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop.
I found the instructions for this pop up fancy fold card on Youtube. The papercrafter who designed this fancy fold is called Ann Melvin and she has wonderfully clear and easy to follow instructions on her Positively Papercraft Youtube channel. Although Ann calls this type of fancy fold a “Nappy fold card” I prefer to call it a hexagonal pop-up platform card!
This card folds flat to pop into an envelope and the pop up element is created without any dies, which is great!
I’ve chopped up one of the card bases from the Boho Beach Kit to decorate the outside hexagon band. This Lost Lagoon pattern looks just like the froth and bubble of the ocean and coordinates beautifully with Coastal Cabana!
Inspired by the Boho Beach Kit, my colour combination is Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon, Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Basic White.
It was a no-brainer to use the Beach Days bundle to make a card for my surfer mad husband, however this pop-up fancy fold card base can be used to create any kind of scene.
The “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment is from the Gone Fishing stamp set, die cut using the smallest rectangle in the Nested Essentials dies. The DSP used to create the surfboards is from the Brights 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper.
A trio of brown Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins completes the front of the card.

Welcome to week 4 of the Art with Heart Team Stampin’ Up! Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024. I hope you we are inspiring you with our Christmas card ideas.
My Christmas cards for week 4 of our Heart of Christmas blog hop use the stunning Shining Christmas 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper as well as elements from the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit.
Between making these cards and my blog going live the Shining Christmas DSP is unfortunately now unavailable, however you can use any DSP patterns in this very simple fancy fold.
Using half a sheet of A4 cardstock I’ve scored it on the landscape side at 2½ and 6½ inches and decorated the side flaps with DSP. These flaps slightly overlap at the front.
For each of the three cards I’ve made a one inch belly band, decorated with different elements from the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit.
The “Peace and Joy” sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and it comes from a stamp set called the Peaceful Season Stamp Set, available from September 4.
Cherry Cobbler embellishments from the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit add a final touch of bling.
With a simple fancy fold like this I decided to make three cards so I could showcase the different patterns in this DSP. It’s also a wonderful way to build up my Christmas Card collection!

Welcome to week seventeen of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!
This week we’re featuring Cherry Cobbler from the Regals Family, a gorgeous deep red that I love, but I have to admit I mainly use it for Christmas cards.
So I have another something old/something new Christmas card to share with you. I’ve CASED this design from a card I saw on Pinterest created by Patti Brunter, however I have used different products on my card and added more Cherry Cobbler to the design.
Firstly, let’s take a closer look at the new products I’ve used for this card. The Snowy Wonder Bundle will be available to order from September 4 and I’ve used the holly stamps and dies on the front my card (the holly stamps are also used on the inside of the card).
I also stamped the three snowflake stamps in Versmark and heat embossed them in white on the Crumb Cake layer.
The other new product I’ve used is the wonderful Greetings of the Season Bundle that is available to order now in the online exclusives section of the Stampin Up! store.
I’ve split a sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set between the front of the card and the inside of the card. The top half the sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on the front of the card (I covered the bottom half of the greeting with a Post-It note).
The bottom half the sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card (I covered the top half of the greeting with a Post-It note).
The Greetings of the Season die is also used as the address label for the front of the envelope.
The “something old” in my card is the adorable Birds Eye View stamp set, coloured in with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut. My colour combination is Cherry Cobbler, Pretty in Pink, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Basic White. I love Cherry Cobbler with pink!!!!
The Cherry Cobbler embellishments and linen thread are both from the Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit. Don’t forget to use your stamp sets and embellishments that come in the kits!
I made the envelope from half a sheet of Shining Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. The spotted Cherry Cobbler pattern on the inside of the envelope is a pretty as the shiny holly side on the outside of the envelope.

My Christmas card for week 3 of our Heart of Christmas blog hop uses products from a brand new suite in this year’s forthcoming September-December catalogue, the Reindeer Days Suite Collection.
I’m in love with this little die cut layered reindeer!
My classic Christmas colour combination includes Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Real Red, Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Basic White.
The Mossy Meadow layer had been embossed with one of the Basics Dies before being die cut out using the foliage frame from the Reindeer Fun dies.
The reindeer is made from three layers of dies.
I’ve stamped the sentiments on the front and the inside in Early Espresso ink.
Both sentiments and the little tree on the envelope are from the Reindeer Fun stamp set.
To make an envelope that fits a square card I simply trimmed 1.5 cm off each side of a C6 envelope and used tear-n-tape to reseal the sides.
