Stampin’ Up! Lost Lagoon Cards

Stampin’ Up! Lost Lagoon Cards

Welcome to week thirty-three of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop, our second last blog hop for 2024!

This week we’re featuring Lost Lagoon, a green from the Subtles family. I’ve made three clean and simple cards tonight using the Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper.

The Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper has three sheets of double-sided designs and three sheets of die-cut greenery elements. I’ve used both the patterned paper and the die-cut elements on my cards tonight.

There is virtually no stamping on these cards, apart from the sentiments which are all from the Country Birdhouse stamp set, stamped in Early Espresso.

I’ve placed some Lost Lagoon gems from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack in the centre of the die-cut flowers on all three cards.

For this third card I’ve used an offcut piece from the sheet of die-cuts as my label so it better matched the other two cards.

Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Kate Morgan. I can’t wait to see what Kate has made this week!

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lolly Cards

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lolly Cards

Welcome to week thirty-two of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!

This week we’re featuring Lemon Lolly, a pale and creamy yellow colour from the Subtles family. I’ve made three clean and simple cards tonight using the Cheerful Daisies Stamp set and the Cheerful Daisies dies.

I’ve used notecards as my card bases, adding a panel of this adorable striped Lemon Lolly design from the Bright & Beautiful DSP.

For two of the cards I wrapped Lemon Lolly twine from the Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack.

The other card has a bow of the Black & Very Vanilla 3/8″ (1 cm) Large Check Ribbon. Which do you prefer?

The foliage was die cut from Old Olive cardstock and the sentiment is from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set.

Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Andrea Sargent. I can’t wait to see what Andrea has made this week!

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Twist Card

Stampin’ Up! Lemon Lime Twist Card

Welcome to week thirty-one of our Art With Heart 2024-25 Colour Creations blog hop!

This week we’re featuring Lemon Lime Twist, a bright lemon/lime colour from the Brights family. I’ve made a card using one of the new Online Exclusives, the Umbrella Days Bundle.

I really wanted this vibrant colour to pop so I’ve paired it with a dark neutral colour, Pebble Path.

How cute is this little dog with his raincoat on! My dog, Superman, has a raincoat too and I’m sure this bundle will be a favourite for many dog lovers!

I also love the rain stamp and the dies for the clouds and the puddles.

I added spots to the umbrella (on the left) using my Pebble Path Stampin’ Blend! and created a two-tone umbrella (on the right) by die cutting the umbrella twice in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and Pebble Path Cardstock.

I then adhered the two colours alternatively over the stamped umbrella.

Sponge daubers and bending brushes were used to add a hint of colour to the sky and the clouds. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto Pebble Path card stock and fussy cut it out.

Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Kate Morgan. I can’t wait to see what Kate has made this week!

AWH Heart of Christmas Week 17

AWH Heart of Christmas Week 17

Welcome to our last Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024!

My simple stamping Christmas card was also made for the “Forest Friends” challenge for Day 25 of the 30 Days of Christmas card making challenge.

I’ve created a monochrome Christmas card that uses a large background stamp set, the Graceful Deer Stamp Set, which I’ve stamped in Pecan Pie.

Would you believe (apart from the sentiment) I’ve only used one stamp to create this forest scene?

A large background stamp like Graceful Deer Stamp Set is ideal for when you need a production line of Christmas cards.

Although I’ve added a few gold snowflake embellishments and some gold twisted thread I could also have simply stamped the image and left it at that!

The “Just for you” sentiment is from the Hang an Ornament Stamp Set, heat embossed in white.

Now it’s time to hop in over to our next participant, the lovely Christine Blain. I can’t wait to see the project Christine has created this week!

If the next button link is not working or you’d like to see the entire list of participants go to Sharon Davern‘s blog.

Sharon has done an amazing job of hosting our Heart of Christmas blog every Monday. Thank you so much Sharon for organising our Christmas blog hop once again xx

Our AWH team will be back on Wednesday night, showcasing Lemon lime Twist. I hope you can join us then!

Day 24 of the 30-Day Christmas Card Making Challenge

Day 24 of the 30-Day Christmas Card Making Challenge

The challenge for Day 24 of the 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge is “Naughty or Nice”.

I’ve combined the santa hat and candy cane stamps from the Stampin’ Up! “Naughty & Nice stamp set with the penguin and holly stamps from the Snowy Wonder stamp set.

I’ve blended some Garden Green ink onto a die cut snowglobe (using the Snowy Wonder dies) before adhering my playful penguins on top.

The holly DSP is from the Reindeer Days 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper and the red layer under that is a Memories & More card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack.

The “Naughty or Nice” sentiment and tag are also from the Stampin’ Up! Naughty or Nice stamp set.

I don’t usually make “cute cards” but these playful penguins with their santa hats really made me smile. Are they naughty or nice? I’ll let you decide!

I’ll be back tomorrow with another “30 Days of Christmas” Christmas card and the final AWH Heart of Christmas blog hop for 2024!

I hope you can join me then.
