Welcome to week 32 of our 2021-22 Colour Creations blog hop! Tonight we are showcasing Old Olive from the Regals family.
Old Olive is the green I tend to use the most. I especially like it used with pinks, but this week I’ve made a simple slimline monochromatic card that is quite masculine.
I’ve used the new Amazing Silhouettes bundle – this stamp set features negative images and the coordinating word dies also have shadow dies.
These large stamps do all the hard work for you, quickly filling the card front. I created a forest of Old Olive trees, using the same stamp at different heights.
The shadow word die was cut in Basic Black to make the Old Olive “Thanks” really pop.
The free SALE-a-bration “Special Moments” stamp set provided me with the perfect sentiment for the inside of my “thanks” card.

Catherine, this is such a lovely masculine looking card. I love the multiple stamping of the tree silhouette stamp and the addition of the narrow strip of black card stock looks amazing as it just makes everything pop!
Oh I do love your card. I’ve been tooing and froing with whether to buy this stamp set but you’ve used it beautifully.

Such a great way to use that tree stamp, Cathy … I’ve been a bit stumped for ideas with that one. LOVE the dies in the bundle, and the Old Olive word looks fab matted on black. Great showcasing of Old Olive tonight. x

Oh this is such a wonderful card. I had been wondering how I would use these trees and this is just gorgeous and I love the dies that is just perfect. I love the thin strip of black I think that was a great choice! Such a great card! Love it!
Oh wow, how lovely! I’m not a fan of this stamp set, but I love what you’ve done with it. The mass of trees looks amazing and is perfectly finished off with just the strip and ‘thanks’.
