Welcome to week twenty of our Art With Heart 2022-23 Colour Creations blog hop!
This is a weekly blog hop where we showcase the stunning range of Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order over 12 months and this week we are featuring Flirty Flamingo from the Brights family.
Tonight’s card features another new die set from the Perfect Partners Promotion – the Apple Blossom dies that coordinate with the Apple Harvest stamp set.
My slimline card was inspired by some of the design elements in this card that created by one of the amazing Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team members, Stesha Bloodhart in the USA.
Because I went away for a few nights over the weekend I’ve run out of time this week and made my card just before the blog went live tonight. I do apologise for the quality of photography as I had to photograph my card with overhead lights on.
The slimline Crumb Cake card base is topped with a white card stock layer that has been embossed with the Typeworn Type Embossing Folder before a dusting of Flirty Flamingo was added a blending brush.
The apple blossom flowers, leaves and stems are die cut from Basic White cardstock using the Apple Blossom dies and then coloured with Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.
Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the lovely Rachel Palmieri – I can’t wait to see what Rachel has made this week!

I hope you can join us then.
Love what you can achieve when you are time poor, I’m feeling a bit of CASE-ing coming over me. The blending on the background is lovely as are the very subtle touches of Flirty Flamingo.
I adore this card (and the sentiment), Cathy. You have made Flirty Flamingo, a colour I’m not mad about, look so beautiful. The Timeworn Type embossed background, with the detail in a vertical orientation, gives an impression of hanging vines/flower garlands. So pretty. I love how you’ve used the dies, too. x
Oh those blossoms are beautiful and I hadn’t even given that bundle much thought at all, but maybe I should have. So pretty in the soft tones and love the embossed background.
Such a beautiful card Cathy even though you said you managed to make it just before we went live. You would never know that. Those Apple Blossoms are so pretty.
Lovely soft, feminine card Cathy. The FF wash on the background really ties the card together
Such a beautiful card Cathy. I wasn’t at all interested in the Apple stamp set until the dies appeared! I love the way you have captured the lovely spring blossoms.
Another beautiful card Cathy. I love the Apple Blossom dies with the Apple Harvest stamps. Your colouring of the blossoms and leaves is lovely; and your colour combo is gorgeous as well. A delightful card. Xxx
I adore the scattering of apple blossoms across your card. They look so pretty!
